Australian Bank Account

To open an Australian bank account you need to pass the '100 point' system to prove your identification. We can set up your bank account prior to your arrival when you purchase the Kickstart package. All you need to provide is a copy of your passport and proof of your current address (i.e. bank statement, utility bill or mobile phone bill).

You are required to go into a local branch once you arrive in Australia and provide 100 points of ID before you can withdraw funds and obtain your debit card and PIN. Your passport will suffice as your 100 points of ID if you visit an ANZ branch within your first 6 weeks of arrival.
