Attaining Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK

We have helped thousands apply for ILR

Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) allows you to stay in the UK for an indefinite period, on condition that you intend to remain present and settled there.

You may apply for ILR once you’ve held a suitable visa for five years in the UK.

How do you qualify for Indefinite Leave to Remain?

You must fulfil the appropriate length of stay requirements, as well as pass the Life in the UK Test in order to attain ILR.

You can only apply for ILR while you are in the UK, and must remain in the country while your application is being considered.

If you leave the country for a continuous period of two years or more, you will usually lose your status as being present and settled. This may result in your ILR status being revoked.
